We are Don and Patty Garni, and Maria is our beautiful ship.  In early 2007 we relocated to Las Cruces, New Mexico from Mill Valley, California, where we lived for 30 years. Las Cruces is our new home when not cruising the canals of France or enjoying the tropics at our pied de terre in Costa Rica.

Before purchasing Maria, we were partners and owners of a successful executive search firm for over 20 years, and, prior to that, we spent several years in the capital equipment leasing industry.

In purchasing Maria, we took our spirit of adventure; love of travel and foreign cultures; interest in art and antiques; experience in operating a successful service-oriented business; and affinity for the French country-side, and blended them into a new lifestyle and the realization of a dream.
